1) POWER IN THE BLOOD

1) POWER IN THE BLOOD

This message was originally preached on 4-4-10 while I was pastor at Adrian United in Adrian Michigan. The methodology of this series was to take six old cherished songs and break the songs down line by line and correlate the lines of the songs with scripture.

In 1899 after entering a house of a demon possessed family during an ole fashioned camp meeting, Lewis E. Jones penned the words to the heart wrenching song, “There Is Power in the Blood.” While there was a lot of evil and confusion taking place, Jones began to sing “There Is Power in the Blood.” The demon promptly left the family and entered the dog lying in the doorway where he abruptly died. (Then Sings my Soul, Robert J Morgan, pg. 249)
