This message was originally preached on 4-11-10 while I was pastor at Adrian United in Adrian Michigan. The methodology of this series was to take six old cherished songs and break the songs down line by line and correlate the lines of the songs with scripture.

“For In Him Dwells All Fullness.” George Farrow’s 1920 song said of Jesus, “And Lord of All Is He.” The chorus concludes, “The mighty God Is Jesus, And It’s All in Him!” Like numerous other well-known Oneness refrains, such as “The Great I Am” and “O, Sweet Wonder,” this song expresses in popular fashion the central theological distinctive of the movement known as Oneness Pentecostalism. It is also commonly known, by its own self-designation, as “Apostolic” or “Jesus’ Name” Pentecostalism. For more than eighty-five years now these Pentecostals have been preaching and singing about Jesus, His deity and the absolute Oneness of God. (“Our God Is One” Rev. Talmadge L. French pg. 13)
