After you play a few pool noodle games it is pretty entertaining to turn the students loose and let them slam the noodles on the floor and create thunderous claps.
SPIN-OFF: You can break your students into two teams. Give the teams a few minutes to brainstorm and create songs with the noodles. Let the two teams have a competition to see who can play the best song so that others can understand what they are playing. The point is just to have fun and I promise you that you will laugh out loud with excitement after watching your students make a bunch of crazy sounds!
