With a new school year in progress and new small groups kicking off, I have had numerous requests for icebreakers. I will be posting an icebreaker every day this week and will resume my regular posting schedule next week.
This is a classic activity to get participants to know each other a little better. It is a sure fire way to get people talking and laughing.
- Give each participant a 3X5 index card and a writing utensil
- Have each participant write two true things about themselves and one false thing
- Have participants go counterclockwise around the room sharing out their details and having the rest of the group guess which detail is the fib.
