  • MINE: 1) MILEAGE STORY (TobyMac song “Move- Keep Walking”)

LYRICS
Another heartbreak day
Feels like you’re miles away
Don’t even need no shade
When your sun don’t shine, shine

Too many passin’ dreams
Roll by like limousines
It’s hard to keep believin’
When they pass you by and by

I know your heart been broke again
I know your prayers ain’t been answered yet
I know you’re feeling like you got nothing left
Well, lift your head, it ain’t over yet, ain’t over yet so

Move, keep walkin’ soldier keep movin’ on
Move, keep walkin’ until the mornin’ comes
Move, keep walkin’ soldier keep movin’ on
And lift your head, it ain’t over yet, ain’t over yet

Psalms 121:1-2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

  • Prayer for Rose

1. COMMITTED – I pray that Rose will always love truth and stand for Acts 2:38. “Then Peter said unto them Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

2. AMBITIOUS – I pray that she will reach her full potential in Jesus and dream big dreams and do big things by loving and serving others and leading many people to Christ.

3. COMPASSIONATE – I pray Rose always sees those who are hurting and that she helps vulnerable people have a voice and that she shows them love, not pity, but real love and true friendship. I pray she never sees color lines or economic lines but instead that she simply sees everyone in terms of human lines and that all humans need Jesus.

4. ENCOURAGING – I pray she continues to cheer everyone up and continues to be sensitive in the spirit and minister to the hurting through a smile, a greeting, a hug, a prayer, a song, a “performance”… I pray that everyday Rose lives out Psalms 118:24, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” I pray that Rose Recognizes that God is in control of EVERY day – difficult/ easy or somewhere in between. I pray That she lives in the present TODAY- not yesterday’s guilt or tomorrow’s worries and that she chooses EVERYDAY to be positive and rejoice in the day God gives her.

5. JOYFUL – I pray That she chooses to praise Him and be full of Joy, confidence in Christ, and the peace that passeth all understanding.

6. STUDENT – I pray that she loves the word of God deeply and studies it and dwells in it. I don’t want her to be a theologian in the sense of questioning your word, Lord, or debating your word and treating it like simply a text to analyze. I want her to love the Word, understand it, and find peace and tranquility in your word. I want her to study to show herself approved and to be able to give an answer but I never want Your Word to simply become another book in her life or studies. I want her to always remember it is the inspired word of God- that you literally breathed this book into existence. It is not a text for humans to mess with in anyway- to add to or take away from. I want her to deeply reverence Your word.

7. WORSHIPPER – I want her to love the house of God and see is at a refuge and a place for hurting souls to come together for strength and healing and salvation. I don’t ever want her to pollute the house of God or work of God with money, things, or feelings of entitlement. Above all in everything my baby does I want her to have clean hands and a pure heart.

8. RIGHTEOUS/ HOLY – I want her prayer everyday to be, “Lord, Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit with in me.” I want Rose to seek to be holy because His word says, “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” My prayer constant prayer for Rose is “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

9. FAITHFUL – I want Rosie to one day stand before JESUS Christ and for her to hear Him say, “…Well done, thou good and faithful servant (Rosie): thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21
